Could you be our next Media and Communications Specialist?Are you a dynamic PR specialist with a passion for storytelling and a knack for building strong media relationships? Join our team as an External Communications Specialist and help us amplify the McDonalds brand voice to new heights by driving awareness of McDonalds impact and growth stories (including Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia) and new product launches.What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?Developing and delivering a proactive local storytelling calendar to support McDonalds Australia and Licensees Driving and supporting impactful brand PR campaigns whilst managing our PR agencyProviding expert communications guidance across business functionCrafting and distributing compelling press materials, key messages, Q&A documentsBuilding strong relationships with journalists, influencers and stakeholdersOverseeing our corporate channels including McDonalds.com and LinkedInCoordinating Impact & Corporate Relations CalendarsHandling the daily media inbox with finesseProactively identifying issues and trends of business importance in the media and effectively communicating with relevant departmentsYour keys to success:Proven track record in delivering standout external communications for retail or FMCG businessesSkilled in collaborating with journalists and media outletsExceptional writing and verbal communication skills, with a talent for building strong stakeholder relationshipsMeticulous attention to detailOutstanding time management skills, thriving in a fast-paced environmentIdeally, a bachelors degree in a relevant fieldRelish in the Maccas difference when you join the Golden Arches:Competitive Remuneration Package.
