With a focus on precision, durability, and innovation, we are a growing enterprise committed to excellence and fostering a supportive workplace culture.Position Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our manufacturing and fabrication team. This role is critical in supporting our product development and engineering services across a range of mechanical design and custom fabrication projects.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop and implement mechanical systems and components tailored for automotive and commercial workshop use.Conduct feasibility assessments, technical analysis and design validation.Prepare detailed drawings, models and specifications using CAD and CAM software.Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions that meet client requirements and industry regulations.Supervise and support the prototyping, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.Ensure compliance with Australian safety standards and regulatory frameworks.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in mechanical engineering, with proven expertise in industrial fabrication and custom design.Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD).Demonstrated experience in applied mechanics, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.Familiarity with the Australian Standards and the National Construction Code.Strong communication, analytical and organisational skills.Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.Chartered status or progress towards CPEng.Experience with CNC systems or advanced manufacturing techniques.Previous experience in high-spec, client-facing projects.Visa and Eligibility:This position is only open to Australian citizens, permanent residents, and New Zealand citizens.How to Apply:Submit your resume and a cover letter addressing the selection criteria via email or the job platform.Job Type: Full-timePay: $110,000.00 $145,738.98 per yearWork Authorisation:Australia (Preferred)Application Deadline: 1/07/2025Expected Start Date: 2/07/2025How do your skills match this job?How do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.Your application will include the following questions:Have you completed a qualification in mechanical engineering?
