Aston Consulting is currently seeking an Intermediate-Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Sydney team. What We Offer: A collaborative and forward-thinking team environment Exposure to diverse and technically engaging projects Opportunities to grow both professionally and technically Role Responsibilities: As an Intermediate-Senior Mechanical Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Designing mechanical systems with a multidisciplinary approach Producing CAD drawings for mechanical designs Undertaking professional development and training Preparing coordinated building services engineering documentation Administering site activities and monitoring installations Attending client meetings as needed Designing mechanical equipment, components, and systems for manufacture and construction Developing manufacturing specifications and determining materials, capacities, layouts, and equipment requirements Establishing standards for installation, quality control, maintenance, and safety Inspecting plants and systems to ensure peak performance Overseeing maintenance and coordinating requirements for new designs and systems What Were Looking For: A minimum of 3 years of mechanical design experience within the building services industry Proficiency in AutoCAD for building services applications Strong verbal and written communication skills A self-motivated professional who thrives both independently and as part of a close-knit team The ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines with enthusiasm Qualifications: A degree in Engineering (recognised by Engineers Australia as a member) or A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in commercial office fitouts This is a full-time, office-based role based in our Sydney office .
