Roles and Responsibilities: Test Planning and Strategy: Develop and document test strategies, plans, and schedules for data testing projects. Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and developers to understand requirements and define test cases. Test Execution: Perform data validation, data transformation, and reconciliation tests. Develop and execute automated and manual test cases to verify the quality of ETL processes, data integration, and reporting solutions. Validate data accuracy in source and target systems. Manage and mentor a team of data testers, ensuring alignment with project goals. Assign tasks, review work, and provide feedback to maintain high testing standards. Automation and Tooling: Identify opportunities for test automation and implement tools/scripts to enhance testing efficiency. Leverage SQL, Python, or other scripting languages for test automation and data validation. Communication and Reporting: Provide regular status updates on testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders. Prepare detailed test reports and recommendations for improving data quality.
