This company is known for operational excellence and innovative automated systems, and they are looking for a dedicated professional to keep their equipment running smoothly, support system improvements, and contribute to a high-performing team environment.About the RoleAs a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of automated sortation systems and freight handling equipment. Your focus will be on preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance, ensuring equipment uptime and efficiency. Youll also play an important role in supporting operational teams and driving continuous improvements across the site.Key responsibilities include:Completing planned maintenance activities on sortation systems and related equipment (preventative, predictive, corrective, and project-based)Quickly identifying and correcting mechanical and automation faultsUsing and maintaining the computerised maintenance management system (MEX)Rapidly repairing critical system components to minimise downtimeEnsuring adherence to all maintenance schedules and proceduresAssisting operational staff with the correct use of systems and equipmentBuilding collaborative working relationships with team members and operational staffManaging critical spare parts storage and ensuring neat organisationKeeping tools and equipment maintained and in safe working conditionContributing to the design and development of system improvements and facility solutionsAbout YouWere looking for a hands-on, solutions-focused Maintenance Technician who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
