We offer integrated value-based logistics solutions that bring greater operating efficiency and savings to our customers supply chains.Driver Trainer | Torrensville, Sth Australia (Fuel & Gas)The Role The position of the Driver Trainer provides specialised training, assessment and coaching for Toll drivers in all relevant aspects of their duties including, but not limited to, induction & on boarding, legislative requirements & Toll Group procedures, supporting our fuel and gas operations across 2 sites.The position is to implement the business driver training strategy (incorporating risk, quality, HSE and human resource management systems) continuous improvement considerations in driver training and assessment.The position plays a key role in the ongoing training and development of drivers to increase service quality and manage the health, safety and wellbeing of employees and the environment, as well as meeting customer contractual requirements.Primary Responsibilities And Decisions Conduct driver inductions and competency assessments (e.g., HIAB use, cylinder handling, driving safety, safe fuel handling and delivery).Maintain driver training records in Workday and competency tracking spreadsheets.Manage DG (Dangerous Goods) compliance and site risk assessments.Deliver and coordinate LMS/Workday Learning programs.Train drivers on daily vehicle checks, safety equipment usage, and in-cab procedures.Lead and support HSE initiatives, including the Together Stronger Injury Prevention Program.Conduct safety conversations and engage in audits and reviews.Proactively identify and stop unsafe work practices.Maintain HSE records and ensure all incidents and near-misses are investigated.Collaborate with management on HSE risk management and consultation processes.What Youll Need To Succeed Certificate IV or Diploma in Workplace Training and Assessment.Heavy Vehicle Drivers Licence (Prefer MC).DG licence and SLP preferred or willing to obtain.Knowledge of HV mass management, fatigue management, dangerous goods, load restraint, road transport rules and regulations.A can-do approach towards driver safety, coaching and risk reduction.Intermediate Microsoft office skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to review training and assessment effectiveness and make recommendation for continuous improvement.What We OfferJoin a large iconic transport company and grow your skillset within the Toll business.Competitive Salary & Benefits: Attractive remuneration package with additional perks.Career Growth & Development: Opportunities for training, upskilling, and career progression.Join us and take your career to new heights in the fast-paced world of logistics!What moves you?At Toll, you can help play a vital role in delivering what matters.
