You can enjoy stunning landscaped gardens and comfortable sitting rooms where you can take in the natural vistasAbout The RoleBaptistCare Warena Gardens is seeking a Catering/Servery Assistant on a par time basis to present and deliver high quality nutritious meals to our residents. You will enjoy working in a large team who are committed and being able make a difference in the lives of residents.There are a variety of shifts available: 7am-2pm / 3pm-7pmThis role requires 32 hours per fortnight.Duties May IncludeAssistance in basic meal preparation and servingMaking tea and coffeeAssisting Chefs with food prep when requiredWorking to achieve and maintain a high standard of cleanlinessChecking and recording temperature of foodFollowing all Food Safety Guidelines and HACCP programAssisting with deliveries of stock and stock rotationAbout YouThe successful applicant will be a team player who enjoys interacting with older people and has the right heart and drive to serve.Previous kitchen/servery experience in a similar roleUnderstanding of work health and safety practicesAbility to work unsupervised and take on physically demanding tasksPrevious experience in aged care (desirable)Willingness to work as part of a busy, friendly teamStrong focus, positive attitude and is well organisedExcellent communication skillsAbout UsBaptistCare support thousands of people across 75 locations in NSW and ACT.
