Brief DescriptionThe Team Member reports to the Store Manager. This role is classified as Level 1 in the GRA.In the absence of the Store Manager, the Team Member reports to the Long Life and/or Fresh Food Manager.ObjectivesMaximise sales by providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring high standards across all areas.Support and motivate the store team by executing routines and processes effectively.Follow directions to uphold store standards.Be a constructive team member within the store.Requirements and ResponsibilitiesEnsure store routines and processes are carried out accurately and effectively.Follow all Schedule/Routine Cards.Assist with induction and training of new employees and ongoing development of existing staff.Report incidents, damages, operational issues, or suggestions to the Store Manager.Minimise stock losses caused by damages and theft.Support store standards management.Communicate essential information to Department Champions/Duty Managers.Ensure accurate stocktaking, receival of goods, and invoice updates for inventory management.Maintain equipment in good working order and ensure proper usage and maintenance.Report pest issues to the Store Manager.Follow all controls, policies, and procedures, including WH&S, Employee Handbook, Product Recall, Food Safety, Due Diligence, and Payment Handling.Adhere to legislative and internal requirements, maintaining records and training staff accordingly.Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Store Manager within the role''s scope.About UsWe are a family-owned company operating independent supermarkets in the Central West and Riverina areas of New South Wales.
