All of our Support team members are directly employed by Annecto and are truly our most valuable resource.About The RoleCurrently, we are seeking highly enthusiastic and experienced support workers to assist with supporting participants. The aim is to ensure that our recipients can participate meaningfully in their family and community life. Support Workers are at the forefront of delivering quality care services in accordance with participant''s individual care plans. As a support worker, you will undertake a variety of tasks to support clients to live their lives their way and help them remain in their own homes. These tasks can include domestic assistance, facilitating meal times, client movement and transport, personal hygiene assistance, communication support, assistance with recreational activities and high-needs personal care. You will also have the opportunity to facilitate activities for small groups of participants.What We Need From YouAvailability for shiftsWillingness to travel up to 30 minutes for workA strong desire to provide quality client service and the ability to make that connection so that you are welcomed you into their homeFlexibility and ability to be adaptiveAbility to provide assistance with housework including preparation of mealsHighly professional and able to act in a compassionate, non-judgmental mannerCurrent police check less than 3 months old or willingness to undertake one with AnnectoCurrent First Aid (with 12 months to run) and CPR Qualifications (with 3 months to run) or willingness to complete prior to employmentCurrent drives license and own transport vehicle with comprehensive insuranceCovid Vaccinated PreferredWhat Would Be Great To HaveFluency in a second language (eg Turkish, Chinese, Vietnamese or Macedonian, Greek), would be an advantageCertificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability Care or higherKnowledge and experience in a similar industry/organisationCultural connection - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island peoples are encouraged to applyCompleted the online NDIS worker orientation module - Quality, Safety & YouShortlisting will commence as soon as applications are received.You should be eligible to work in Australia.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island peoples are encouraged to apply.Annecto is a child safe and equal employment opportunity employer.
