As a vital member of our logistics and distribution team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing and movement of freight through our facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect vehicles for any damage or issues that could affect transport.Prepare vehicles for loading by adjusting parking brakes and ensuring doors are locked.Line up vehicles in the correct order for loading onto the truck.Safely and efficiently load vehicles onto the truck, ensuring proper weight distribution and stability.Secure vehicles on the truck using straps, chains, or other appropriate methods to prevent movement during transport.Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and procedures.Maintain accurate records of vehicles loaded and unloaded.Complete any necessary paperwork or reports related to loading and transport.Maintain a safe working environment by keeping the loading area clear of obstacles.Follow all safety procedures and regulations.Be aware of potential hazards and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.Communicate effectively with drivers and other personnel involved in the loading and transport process.Provide clear instructions and guidance to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.What We''re Looking ForHaving a valid MSIC card is a requirement for this position. If you are willing to obtain one, please note that there is a cost of $750 which you would be responsible for.Applicants must possess a valid full driver''s license with a clean driving record.
