Founded in 1960, H&G is a building supplies company with wide variety of products, 7 locations, and driven to be the possible partner for all builders of the Australian dream.We are currently seeking a Deliver Driver Offsider for our Northern Beaches location.Job OverviewThe Delivery Driver Offsider is the professional customer service face of H&G and operates vehicles (cars, vans, trucks) to collect and transport goods from one location to another. From time to time the role requires an element of working unsocial hours, including weekend work.Key ResponsibilitiesTransport goods to and from a variety of locations, ensuring punctual delivery and optimal condition on arrivalLoad and unload goodsDrive at all times in a legal and professional manner, keeping in mind the reputation of H&GProvide professional customer service at all timesProvide helpful service to satisfy customer''s deliveryComplete and check all loads and related paperwork correctly, ensuring procedures are followed as instructedEnsure safe storage of loads and compliance with Chain of Responsibility obligationsMaintain security over loads from theft and damageMaintain equipment in good working order, reporting any issues as neededReport all damage or accidents to local manager or supervisorAdhere to safe work practicesCo-operate with other departments in the preparation and delivery of ordersFollow all reasonable directions given by the teamlead, assistant manager, and adhere to company policies and procedures to your best abilityUndertake self-assessment on personal safety to adhere to assigned lifting requirementsPerform other related duties as requiredKPIs Key Performance IndicatorsGoods delivered on time in full KPI: assigned deliveries achieved or exceededDeliveries per day: KPI: xx to xxExternal customer feedback: positiveInternal customer feedback: positiveKey RequirementsTeam player, prepared to co-operate with all work colleaguesDedicated to excellence in customer servicePositive can do attitudeValid licence, of a class suitable for the needs of the position (eg.
