Join us and make every day an unforgettable adventure!Job DescriptionShowcase your communication and organization strengths as Banquet Manager, where you will lead and liaise among multiple departments to ensure each group function is truly exceptional.Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000 per annum based on previous experienceYour Job Duties Include :Ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the Banquet DepartmentEnsure all functions maintain a first class and positive visual impact; including ambiance, dcor and service deliveryBalance operational, administrative and Colleague needsAssist with coaching and training the Banquet team in all aspects of the departmentProcess all banquet bills to ensure financial reporting is accurateRespond to guest concerns and react quickly and professionallyAssume responsibility for all banquet facilities, including cleanliness, repair and maintenance, reporting any deficiencies as requiredWork closely with the Culinary and Stewarding team to ensure all banquet requirements are in placeAttend pre-conference, daily convention, and leadership meetings when requiredLiaise with the Conference Services/Catering Department to ensure events are executed successfullyLiaise with onsite meeting planner to ensure clients needs are being meetOther duties as assignedQualificationsYour experience and skills include:Previous leadership experience in food and beverage requiredPro Serve certification is requiredValid Alberta Drivers License requiredPrevious experience in a hotel banquet setting preferredComputer literate in Microsoft Window applications required and knowledge of the Sales and Catering system preferredTrain the Trainer and Interaction Management an assetAdditional InformationVisa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
