4 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsAs the WHS & RTW Coordinator at Adelaide Oval, you will support the continued development of best-practice WHS & RTW programs while driving a safety culture throughout the stadium. This is a hands-on position reporting to the WHS Manager, and you will collaborate with various departments throughout the stadium and external stakeholders to achieve safety excellence throughout the organisation.To be successful in this position, you will have a passion for safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to observe, advise, and implement change in a dynamic environment. This role will require some event-day work, including weekends and evenings.What You''ll Be DoingAssist in managing Adelaide Oval''s WHS compliance framework and risk management strategy while proactively delivering a safety-first culture.Undertake regular inspections of Adelaide Oval facilities and equipment, identifying potential hazards and championing WHS processes to ensure safety compliance.Partnering with business units to provide technical advice on safety compliance, including identifying risks and implementing risk mitigation strategies.Participating in organising major events by liaising with stakeholders to ensure safety compliance and undertaking risk assessments as required.Handling Injury Management claims, including processing associated paperwork and return-to-work programs.What You''ll BringAn understanding of WHS best practices in a large venue or public facility.Knowledge of WHS & RTW legislative requirements.Experience in managing incidents and hazards, including building effective WHS procedures.Technologically savvy, with the drive to digitalise WHS processes.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with guests, employees, contractors and all other stakeholders.Passionate about leading change by utilising initiative and innovative thinking.A high level of computer literacy and experience with WHS reporting programs.What''s In It For YouWhile working at the iconic Adelaide Oval, youll be rewarded for contributing to delivering world-class events through our suite of reward and recognition initiatives.
