About The Role The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and completion of projects. This role involves coordinating project activities, managing documentation, tracking progress, and ensuring smooth communication between stakeholders. The Project Coordinator supports the Project Manager and team members to achieve project goals on time and within budget. Project support Part sales forecasting through CRM Developing a forecast report for labour and steel requirements specific to part sales Submitting steel and labour forecast reports as part of the S&OP cycle and on an ad hoc basis once the project is implemented Maintenance Portal Project objective: Champion the implementation of a Maintenance portal as per the scope of work. Examples of project deliverables include: Shifting/aligning warranty defect register to portal Building/linking asset lists in the portal for asset tracking and history capture Configuring In Field app for inspections and reporting Setting up dashboards Training end users (Technical Support Team) on utilizing the new platform Project Coordinator responsibilities: Coordinating user testing, reporting results, and liaising with external IT consultants for troubleshooting Training end users Cross-Functional coordination, risk & quality management, administrative & financial tracking Supporting ad-hoc requests related to Life Cycle Care activities within Schlam Payload Data analysis, reporting, and maintaining data What You Bring 2+ years in a project coordination role, preferably in manufacturing, heavy equipment, or industrial services Experience in the mining or heavy-duty equipment sector is a strong asset Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Effective written and verbal communication skills Competency in project tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, ERP systems) Basic understanding of mechanical components and manufacturing processes Comfort working with site-based teams and field service personnel Why Work with Us?
