Apply now!Role Overview:As a Junior Social Media Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting our Social Media Manager and the extended marketing team in running our everyday activities. This includes supporting, planning, implementing, managing, and monitoring the agencys and our clients social media/marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and drive audience engagement. There is a heavy emphasis on influencer marketing and working with large numbers of content creators to produce content for our clients.Specific Job Activities:Support the social media and content creation team in developing and curating engaging and original content for various social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).Collaborate with the design and content teams to produce visually appealing posts, videos and stories.Identify and manage Influencers and Content Creators in order to produce large amounts of content for our clients.Attend and assist the creative team on content shoots.Editing and creation of social media videos and/or graphics.Planning content calendars and schedules, publishing, and monitoring posts across platforms.Engage with the online community and respond to comments, messages and tagged posts.Monitor trending topics and possible competitors activities.Assist in planning and executing organic social media campaigns and promotions, while monitoring and optimising performance.Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports to communicate performance insights for clients.Attend client meetings and take notes, organise agendas and calendars.The perfect fit:Someone who lives and breathes social media with a desire for a career in digital marketing.Strong knowledge of trends, Australian influencers/creators, and filming/ editing social media style content.Highly organised personality that can work under pressure, work independently and in a team with great attention to detail.Motivated, proactive and confident team player with a positive attitude.Comfortable to be in front and behind the camera in social media videos.Experience managing social media accounts and creating content.Experience with tools such as Sprout Social, Monday.com, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and CapCut.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Has a portfolio of your previous social media or content work.Happy to be in our office full time.MMX is a boutique digital marketing agency that works with some of Australias largest brands.
