This role provides a unique opportunity to combine your analytical skills and creativity to enhance economic literacy among young people across Australia, shaping and inspiring the next generation of economic thinkers!About the roleLeads a team of specialists to implement the public education strategy and contribute to the Communication Department''s objectivesManages internal and external relationships with key stakeholders to support and enhance the public education programDirects rigorous research and evidence-based evaluations to identify effective solutions in support of introducing economics to a broader and more diverse student populationCollaborates with other government agencies and organisations on joint work programs to increase economics enrolments in AustraliaOversees the creation of economics resources for teachers, students and the general public, with a focus on monetary policyApplies creativity in delivering new digital resources for students and the general publicOversees the planning and delivery of events for students and educatorsOffers expertise in communicating economic concepts in a simple way to help amplify the RBA''s voice in the economic conversationManages the operations, budgets, people and processes for the area, including continuous improvementAbout youStrong economic research/analytical and critical thinking skillsStrong presentation and report writing skillsAdvanced skills in stakeholder management and communicationDemonstrated people leadership and an ability to deliver outcomesDemonstrated project and program management skillsWork experience within economic and/or policy rolesSkills in communicating complex economics concepts in an easy-to-understand wayEnthusiasm for engaging with young peopleWorking with Children CheckBe MoreWorking for an organisation that truly makes a difference to the people of Australia, we can offer development and career opportunities in a collaborative environment that supports your growth, wellbeing and promotes flexibility.
