This is Permanent Full-time opportunity working with a team with a variety of skills and experience and working alongside a compassionate and enthusiastic Senior Program Manager.Provide effective leadership, management and support in the development and implementation of high-quality service delivery to children, families and other stakeholders in the counselling programs.$106,388 per annum (SCHADS level 6) plus superannuation plus generous salary packaging availableThis role involves but is not limited toOversee the development of goal-oriented intervention and support plansCollaborate to identify client needs and deliver high-quality services within available resources, continuously evaluating effectiveness and adapting to changing needs and dynamicsEnsure that program operate in alignment with Mercy Communitys policies, procedures, and organisational values, as well as service agreements, accreditation requirements, and other relevant protocols, with close consultation with Senior Management supervisorBuild and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders, including the Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services, to uphold program reputationFacilitate ongoing feedback from clients and stakeholders to ensure continuous service improvementAbout YouAs the successful applicant, you will possess:Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Behavioural Sciences, Psychology or related disciplineStrong understanding of counselling interventions for children and young people, especially those who have experienced child abuse and neglectProven ability to manager, inspire and mentor staff, fostering a high-performance team cultureCurrent and valid Queensland Provisional Green or above Drivers LicenseCurrent and valid Paid Blue Card (Queensland Working with Children Check) or ability to applyEvidence of current vaccination against whooping cough (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)Why Mercy CommunityMercy Community is a Catholic not-for-profit that provides a wide range of services supporting families, young people, and the elderly.
