About the Position We are looking to welcome a Psychologist to provide an outstanding therapeutic service to children, young people and their families. Permanent full time or part time position on offer Work within an experienced multi-disciplinary team Key responsibilities Maintain a client case load as negotiated with the Clinical Service Manager. Provide trauma informed psychological intervention as part of an integrated therapy team. Engage in case discussions and collaboration with our team of psychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapist and social worker. Identify and work toward client goals and achieve meaningful outcomes for clients. Liaise with external stakeholders as needed to provide support to the clients on your caseload. You can read our full position description here under the relevant vacancy. About You Tertiary degree in Psychology and current registration. At least two years experience working with children, young people and their families who have been impacted by trauma or experienced abuse and neglect, or at least two years experience working in similar roles. Experience providing individual therapy to children, young people and their families. Clinical and therapeutic understanding of the impacts of trauma on child development and family functioning. Other Requirements Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption. Current drivers licence. Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).
