The ICT and Business Technology Section plays a key role in enabling the work of the APVMA by providing core ICT services, data and reporting platforms, as well as bespoke business applications. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) the Assistant Director Principal Business Analyst will be responsible for assisting the CIO in leading and providing strategic direction. Over the coming 48 months, the APVMA and the ICT and Business Technology Section will be delivering several initiatives that will improve the technology platforms that support core business functions. Our Ideal Candidate / Selection criteria To be considered for these roles you will need the following essential criteria: Demonstrated ability to work flexibly and to plan, organise and prioritise workload, and to communicate priorities within the team. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills that identify opportunities and drive growth. Strong business analysis experience in eliciting business process information and defining highly complex stakeholder and solution requirements. Demonstrated experience of ICT project delivery. Well-developed interpersonal skills, and experience coaching, mentoring, or managing staff, including identifying the professional development needs of yourself and others. Demonstrated ability to confidently lead by example and display appropriate professional and inclusive behaviour in the workplace (consistent with APS and APVMA values and behaviour expectations).
