You will:Provide strategic support to the Regional Biosecurity Lead (North) and Biosecurity Leadership Team on key biosecurity initiatives and projects.Develop, review, and evaluate evidence-based policies, undertake confidential research, and conduct critical analysis to contribute to Biosecurity Queenslands initiatives.Initiate, maintain, and enhance effective relationships with key internal and external partners, promoting effective communication channels including feedback mechanisms and expectations.Biosecurity Queensland plays a vital role in securing the state''s agricultural prosperity and preserving and protecting the health of our environment and economy. We are dedicated to safeguarding both human and animal health by preventing and mitigating plant and animal pests and diseases.
