Your core responsibilities will include:Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence and implement effective student conduct and integrity processes aligned with strategic prioritiesProvide expert advice and leadership on student conduct, complaints, and integrity matters, ensuring compliance with Higher Education Threshold Standards and sector best practicesLead and manage a high performing unit responsible for student integrity, conduct, and compliant case management, ensuring efficient workflows, professional service delivery, and timely resolutionDrive continuous improvement through development, implementation, and review of policies, procedures, staff training and systems related to student grievances, misconduct, and complaints handling.Oversee investigations and complex case management, including serious matters such as Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment, ensuring integrity, fairness, and accountability throughout the processMonitor, analyse and report on student conduct trends and complaint data to inform strategic decisions, support institutional reporting requirements, and contribute to sector engagement and reformAbout youYou will be passionate about fostering a fair, respectful, and accountable university environment by leading best practice approaches to student integrity, conduct, and complaints management, and championing the rights, safety, and wellbeing of all students. More specifically, you will have:Postgraduate qualifications, combined with extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional expertiseProven leadership in managing and improving integrity, conduct, and complaints frameworks, with a strong understanding of relevant legislative and sector best practicesDemonstrated expertise in complex case and complaint management, including investigations into sexual misconduct, racism, gender-based violence, and disciplinary processesStrong knowledge of customer protection, privacy, and administrative law, and the ability to apply this within the Higher Education ContextExcellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to mentor high performing teams, build trust, and communicate complex information clearly across diverse audiences.Salary and benefitsOur staff benefit from flexible work arrangements, including hybrid work models, generous parental and carers leave provisions, wellbeing initiatives, employee assistance programs and professional learning opportunities. The base salary ranges from $137,628 - $155,609 per annum, plus 17% employers contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $182,062.
