The opportunityDelaware North Australia is hiring a casual Beach Club Attendant to join our team at Lizard Island Resort. This role is part of our Activities and Marine Division, with a strong focus on the guest-facing operations coordination that keeps our guest experiences running smoothly. As a key support to the daily operations, youll be responsible for greeting guests, managing schedules, preparing equipment for tours, maintaining guest records, and ensuring timely communication across departments. You''ll also assist with beachside guest inductions and snorkel gear fittings as needed. If youre organised, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply and become part of our world-class island team.What we offerLive and work on the Great Barrier ReefJoin a global hospitality companyBe part of a dynamic and professional team delivering a 5 star experienceWhat will you do?Daily record upkeep, and administrative duties (Excel, Opera, ResDiary)Coordinating tour and transfer bookingsCleaning equipmentEnsure Beach Club is clean, well-stocked, and meet quality standardsEnsuring the consistency, quality and integrity of the delivery of guest service related to the activities functionUndertake a combination of meeting and greeting incoming and outgoing guests, conducting tours, activities and property transfersMaintain a safe work environment by assisting with implementation of OH&S policies and proceduresEnsure guests are served in a timely mannerCreate special experiences one guest at a timeMaintaining and creating a strong commitment to a collaborative team environmentEnsure adherence to Delaware North Policies and Procedures and Code of ConductMore about youKnowledge of the marine/park environment (ie Great Barrier Reef and Coral reef systems)Knowledge of island/resort flora, fauna and bird and animal lifeMarine and dive industry knowledgeCurrent & valid for 6 months Australian First Aid (HLTAID011), CPR (HLTAID009) &Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy Certificate (HLTAID015) (all essential)RSA certificate (essential)Long Range Operator Certificate of Proficiency (LROCP) (essential)PADI or SSI Dive master or PADI instructor certification (highly regarded)Current AS 2299 diving medical certificate (Australian recognised)Current Padi Diving Insurance (Public Liability and Diver Evac)Current PADI/SSI membershipWho we areNestled within the Great Barrier Reef, Lizard Island is a sanctuary of natural beauty and tranquility.
