Ventia has an exciting permanent full-time position for a Store Person based at our state-of-the-art facility in Moorebank NSW. Reporting to the Stores Supervisor, you will be a vital member of our stores and warehousing team.Working Monday to Thursday, 7am 3:45pm, and Fridays, 7am to 12pm, the position offers $31.64 per hour.What will we offer you?Career advancement opportunities within the business.A positive, collaborative culture that values and embraces diversity and inclusion.Access to Ventia''s staff discount scheme travel, private health insurance, etc.Full financial support to obtain qualifications as you grow in the role.What you will be doing:Operating computer systems to obtain details of stock quantity and location.Receipt and delivery of goods.Organising and controlling the day-to-day workflow - receiving, scanning, sorting, and placing incoming goods on shelves.Operating machinery such as forklifts, placing, and removing items.Conducting store tasks, including account management and stocktakes.Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.Assisting with maintenance record keeping and documentation.Participating in monthly Toolbox Meetings.Maintaining housekeeping of store areas.Assisting the Site Supervisor with HSE Site Inspections.Could you be our next Store Person?You must:Be an Australian Citizen eligible for a Defence security clearance.Have experience in a store and warehousing environment.Have a proactive, ''hands-on'' attitude.Have experience with computers and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suites.Hold a forklift ticket (Essential).Be physically fit as the job requires prolonged periods of walking, standing, and sitting.Hold a valid drivers license (Essential).About VentiaVentia is a leading infrastructure services company operating across Australia and New Zealand.
