We support employees and managers by offering a comprehensive range of services and advice on workers compensation and non-compensation health and wellbeing matters. We are looking for two enthusiastic and dynamic Case Managers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, providing comprehensive support to employees and working collaboratively with other team members to achieve the best outcomes. All applicants will be assessed against both roles.As a Senior Rehabilitation Case Manager, you will provide trauma-informed rehabilitation case management services, supporting injured or ill staff with both workers'' compensation and non-compensation health and wellbeing issues. This role requires expertise in workers'' compensation, workplace rehabilitation, holistic case management and trauma-informed practices. Key areas include early intervention, injury management, return-to-work strategies and broader HR concerns. You will offer high-quality, person-centric guidance to staff facing complex health and wellbeing challenges, developing and implementing individualised support strategies. Additionally, you will collaborate with medical professionals, managers and external service providers to optimise support for affected employees.Key Responsibilities:lead trauma-informed strategic case management for complex health mattersdevelop and implement case strategies for return-to-work programs or other clinically indicated strategies in line with relevant frameworks, legislation, policies and proceduresmanage workers'' compensation claims, coordinating with Comcare for timely progressiondevelop and maintain stakeholder relationships, communicate effectively with influence and manage conflict resolution processesprepare and review complex correspondence, reports and policies; maintain accurate records diligently and in real-time to ensure thorough documentationhandle personal information confidentially, adhering to privacy principlesprovide coaching and mentoring to enhance manager capabilitypromote health and wellbeing services and initiativesundertake supportive administrative functions.As a Case Manager - Intake Assessment Officer you will provide case management and be responsible for the intake of new cases, assessment of initial needs and early intervention in injury management to promote early and sustainable return to work support for injured or ill staff members. This role requires a strong understanding of the case management function, with a solid background in broader HR procedures to provide quality, contemporary and business-focused solutions and advice on a range of human resources issues, including early intervention, injury management, return to work strategies, unscheduled staff absence, harassment, bullying and discrimination.Key Responsibilities:conducting comprehensive intake assessments for staff and managers referred for health and wellbeing management supportsassessing initial needs, provide early intervention and early case management supports, escalate referrals for complex case management support where required.triaging to improve referral engagement and support early case strategy settingproviding coaching and advice to local managers supporting employeesmanaging short-term early intervention case managementsupporting the Early Assistance Framework with timely advice and appropriate provisionsengaging with key stakeholders to improve processes providing proactive support for injury/illness incident managementmanaging reasonable adjustments prior to and during employmentundertaking supportive administrative functions.Our Ideal CandidateOur ideal candidates will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:demonstrated experience in trauma-informed case management with a focus on rehabilitation, return to work outcomes, and early intervention activitiesstrong communicator with interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate, influence and build strong working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholdersexercise sound judgement to make decisions underpinned by holistic case management practice, legislation, best practice principles, policies and proceduresknowledge of relevant legislations, rehabilitation and return to work frameworks, HR policies and procedures, and other HR disciplines, particularly behaviour, performance or code of conductexperience in, or knowledge of, allied health particularly psychological healthattention to detail, highly organised and effective with time managementcommitted to a professional standard of record-keeping and administration practiceshigh standard of preparing complex correspondence, briefs, reports and submissionsdemonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples.Identified PositionThis position is Identified which signifies that the role has strong involvement in matters relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.This Position Is Required To Liaise With Aboriginal And Torres Strait Islander Peoples, Communities And Service Providers.
