ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies andorganisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. Weprovide vital workplace support for people working in some of the mostisolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold minesin the Australian Outback.Due to our ever-growing joint venture with Secure Energy. We are looking for experienced Assistant Managers to provide on site services across regional NSW.Full Time Permanent employmentRoster of 14 days on 7 days offSydney / Melbourne Flights providedBase Salary $94,170Salary inclusive of super $104,999The PositionsAssist the management of Village Operations alongside Site Manager or as Back to backs (catering and cleaning services)Maintaining consistent operational performance, driving quality, cost, people capability and performanceDriving regular and sustainable improvement in our safety performanceFostering a high-performance culture through continuous improvement and innovationPassion for staff engagement and development, modelling positive working relationships, demonstrating trust, care and respectWork roster of 14 days on 7 days off with Sydney or Melbourne as preferred points of hireAttractive salary packages, with flights, meals and accommodation providedThe PersonExperience in Village Management or Relief Management positions in a remote settingStrong and decisive leadership skills with ability to build effective and engaged teamsExperience managing multiple stakeholder relationships and project deadlines with competing prioritiesStrong financial and analytical skills in developing budgets and allocating appropriate resources to ensure a sustainable and profitable business, preferably within the remote or offshore sector.Ability to identify and implement new innovations within the facilities management, hospitality, or hotel services industry.Experience in Staff recruitment, retention, rostering, and subsequent management of both permanent and casual workforces.Chef qualifications are also desirable, as is proven management experience in the hospitality field, ideally within a Catering and or Accommodation services environment.White card is required for site entryThe BenefitsYou will have the support, infrastructure, systems and processes you would expect from a global organisation.
