The early years of a child''s life are the most important; this is when they develop motor, sensory and social skills, and start to learn about the world. We are looking for a childcare trainee to undertake a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care course over 18 months, whilst working full time with us and training on the job. A traineeship is a great way to join the industry and earn a qualification along the way. There is also a pathway to university do undertake a degree in Early Childhood Education. Be an artist, scientist, engineer, interior decorator, psychologist, mathematician, gardener, and a farmer. Enjoy playing in mud, wet sand, and shaving cream; love crawling around on hands and knees, meowing like a cat, or slithering like a snake. Have the ability do ten things at once and have eyes in the back of your head. Be able to change pants and nappies with a smile; able to read endless stories with excitement. Be confident talking to parents and families and building those trusted relationships. Be open to learning from more experienced educators and teachers. About you Be 16 years old or over (ideally you would have finished Year 12) Be an Australian citizen/permanent resident. Not hold or be studying towards any qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care. Be willing to obtain or already hold a Working with Children Check (over 18 years).
