About The OpportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join our friendly, supportive, dynamic Allied Health team within the Home and Community Care area.This is a full-time opportunity at Nowra, NSW.As a Physiotherapist, you will provide professional advice and services based on the needs and goals of our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesIn-home assessments and reportsDevelopment of programs to address strength and balanceMobility equipment assessment and recommendationsFacilitating, monitoring and reviewing individual exercise programsLiaising with wider members of the H&CC team to ensure clients are meeting goals and outcomesAbout YouThe successful candidate will have:Bachelor''s Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy and current registration with the NSW Physiotherapy BoardCurrent Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) registrationDemonstrated clinical experience in the delivery of Physiotherapy services for clients with chronic, aged and complex needs, designing and implementing client-centred plans, managing complex client care and discharge planningDemonstrated experience in assessment, planning and evaluating interventions, with the ability to exercise independent professional judgement with minimal direct supervisionPrevious experience working in an Aged Care environment and commitment to providing quality services and care to aged care clientsCurrent First Aid or willingness to obtainCurrent Australian Drivers License and access to a vehicle (Pool Car available)Ability to work collaboratively within a team and be confident working autonomously when requiredSound and proficient organisational skills with strong time managementAbility to prioritise competing workloads and tasksProficient in using computer applications, including Microsoft Office, client/data management systems and a willingness to learn new programsWhy work at Uniting?To help you thrive in your work, youll have access to a range of benefits that will support you in your role and outside of work.
