We are seeking an experienced and driven Manager Procurement to lead our procurement function and ensure the efficient, cost-effective, and compliant acquisition of goods and services.In this role, you will be responsible for implementing the companys procurement strategy, overseeing supplier management, contract negotiations, and risk mitigation. Youll play a key role in optimising procurement processes to support operational efficiency and strategic business goals.Key Accountabilities:Provide leadership and guidance in the application of strategic sourcing principles across the procurement department.Drive and support the implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives to enhance procurement effectiveness and value delivery.Identify key procurement categories relevant to DP Worlds operations and lead efforts to optimise contractual arrangements for externally sourced goods and services.Develop, manage, and maintain effective supplier relationships to ensure performance, reliability, and alignment with business needs.Ensure the procurement team establishes and monitors appropriate key performance indicators (KPIs) for each supply arrangement, supporting continuous improvement and supplier accountability.Qualifications, Experience and SkillsTertiary qualifications in finance, management, business administration, or a related field; a degree in supply chain and logistics is desirableMinimum 5 years of procurement experience, including 2+ years in a leadership roleStrong background in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and developmentExperience in procurement within manufacturing or materials handling industries, with knowledge of engineering, maintenance, and capital projectsProven track record in leading and developing high-performing teams (5+ members)Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsStrong analytical skills and proven management capabilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experienced in Sourcing/procurement systemsAbility to work independently and collaboratively, with a strong customer service focusAbout DP WorldTrade is the lifeblood of the global economy, creating opportunities and improving the quality of life for people around the world.
