Alfabs Group is a long established ASX listed company and highly regarded provider of turnkey solutions for complex high-profile projects within the Infrastructure, Mining, Ports & Construction sectors.Due to our recent growth and expanding project portfolio, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at our new Parramatta location.As Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in assisting with the management and execution of construction projects within site services.In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers to ensure seamless project execution and effective communication between all stakeholders. Your collaborative approach will support the Project Managers in aligning project objectives with company goals, addressing challenges proactively, and driving successful outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to Alfabs Project Managers by taking ownership of both off-site and on-site project technical requirements to ensure compliant and successful project delivery in accordance with specified technical standards.Review and interpret client engineering drawings and project specifications to develop required technical deliverables including shop drawings, installation methodologies, and Project Quality documentation.Collaborate with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, and Project Supervisor to develop comprehensive installation documentation that clearly communicates construction requirements to the on-site team.Design and document installation methodologies, including fabrication processes, yard assembly procedures, and modular transport logistics, to support efficient and effective project execution.Ensure all technical documentation aligns with project quality and compliance requirements and contribute to continuous improvement in project engineering practices.Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, technical codes, and standards.Demonstrate strong organisational skills and manage a range of tasks, often involving irregular hours and both on-site and off-site work.Utilise Excel, Word, Outlook, and MS Project to manage project documentation and communication.Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and regulations, prioritising a safety-minded approach in all aspects of project execution.What we need from youTertiary Qualification - University degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management Desired5-8 years of experience in a similar role within a comparable-sized organisation.Proven site-based experience in an industrial environment or heavy industry.Proven experience in managing construction projects, particularly in the field of site servicesSolid understanding of industry safety requirements and standardsExcellent written communication skills for preparing documentation and reports.Highly developed customer service and networking skills.Current drivers license.Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and ProjectBe part of a forward-thinking company with a commitment to professional growth and development.Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities to work on diverse and challenging projects.Collaborative and supportive work environment.What we offerBe part of a forward-thinking company with a commitment to professional growth and development.Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities to work on diverse and challenging projects.Collaborative and supportive work environment.To apply for this role please follow the link through Seek and include a current resume, and a cover letter to introduce yourself. #J-18808-Ljbffr
