As the Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering and executing the brand vision, establishing a high-performance culture within your store, operational excellence, and ensuring a fun and joyful customer experience for both parents and children.In this role, you will work collaboratively with your Store Manager and Area Manager to foster a people-first culture, maximize sales growth, and accelerate your personal career development in a leadership capacity.Responsibilities include:Ensuring efficient store operations to meet sales targets, KPIs, store presentation standards, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage managementMotivating your team to achieve KPI and added value targetsMonitoring sales to meet daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals, recognizing achievements, and identifying opportunities for improvementManaging wage costs in line with targets and rostering standardsCoaching and mentoring team members to maintain high morale and support their development through training and succession planningEnsuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety legislationBenefits include:Structured rosters with two consecutive days off for better work-life balance50% discount across all brands for you and your familyAfter 12 months, entitlement to "Life Leave" an additional 4 days per yearReferral rewards for building our teamTo succeed in this role, you should have:Experience as a full-time or senior casual sales assistant, key holder, supervisor, or 3ICA motivated and proactive attitudeA passion for leading and inspiring teamsA proven record of driving sales and achieving KPIsOperational expertise in stock control and visual merchandisingAbout MFGWith over 290 stores and 2000 team members nationwide, we aim to be the best footwear retailer in Australia and beyond.
