We are looking for a Store Manager to join us at our Platypus store in Highlands! This role will see you lead, inspire, and coach a team of passionate casuals, including support from your Assistant Store Manager. Your responsibilities include driving sales and KPIs, customer engagement, and team member coaching and development. You will work collaboratively with your Area Manager to identify opportunities for your store and team in a high-profile space. The role & responsibilities: Ensure efficient operation of your store to achieve sales targets, KPIs, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage. Motivate your team to achieve KPIs & added value targets. Monitor store sales to meet daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets, recognizing outstanding results and addressing missed opportunities. Manage wage costs effectively, adhering to weekly wage targets and rostering standards. Coach and mentor your team to maintain high morale and support their development through training and succession planning. Ensure compliance with OH&S legislation and manage safety procedures. To be successful in this role, you will have: At least 1 year of retail store management experience in a fast-paced environment. A motivated & driven ''Make it Happen'' attitude. A passion for leading and inspiring a team to succeed. Strategic thinking skills to identify missed opportunities and proven success in driving sales and KPIs. Operational excellence in stock control and visual merchandising. Experience managing rosters and wage control.
