We want to hear from you!Central Highlands Regional Council is seeking a Senior Public Relations Officer to join the team. We are looking for someone with a broad range of experience in public relations, who will enhance council''s public relations capacity and effectiveness.In this role, you will delegate workloads, provide professional advice and manage complex public relations tasks which will allow you to continue to develop and diversify your skills.Your extensive public relations experience will allow you to successfully maintain and enhance the reputation of council.Your Expertise Will Support Council By:Managing and delegating the workload of the Public Relations team to ensure consistent and exceptional service delivery.Advising and supporting stakeholders on public relations, media, marketing and branding matters.Developing and implementing public relations campaigns.Establishing, building and maintaining effective working relations with internal and external parties.To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:A degree in communications, public relations, media, marketing or a relevant field and/or at least 3 years experience in a similar role.Minimum Queensland C Class provisional drivers licence.Diverse and complex public relations tasks within a large organisation.Social media content planning and the delivery of campaigns across multiple social media channels.The use of social media scheduling software and digital analytical tools for monitoring and reporting.A high level understanding of corporate communications principles including internal and external stakeholder engagement.Demonstrated experience in the content management of websites and intranet sites and basic graphic design.Ability to produce and edit images and video content.Outstanding research, storytelling and writing skills and an ability to apply these skills to social media content.If this sounds like you, apply now!Working For Central Highlands Regional Council Has Its Benefits.We are a progressive region, committed in creating opportunities for all.
