In this key role, you will be responsible for leading and promoting Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards across our construction sites in New South Wales. Your primary goal will be to ensure a safe working environment for all employees, subcontractors, and visitors, while fostering a culture of safety within the organization.As an HSE Advisor, you will collaborate with project teams to develop, implement, and review HSE policies, procedures, and practices. You will conduct regular site inspections and audits, provide training and support, and actively contribute to the identification and mitigation of risks. A suitable level of professionalism and personal presentation consistent with our company goals and commitments is vital to this role.Take any reasonable actions consistent with the responsibilities of the position and subject to any limitations set by the Project Manager or Group Manager HSE and Lipmans policies, procedures and guidelines.Promote a Safety-First culture on site through consistent enforcement of company procedures.Lead by example to improve efficiency, safety and environmental performance, project quality and/or reduce cost.Be familiar with, and comply with Lipmans Management Systems, including statutory requirements.Initiate, action, or recommend solutions to rectify deficiencies or issues in a timely manner.Verify actions taken to resolve such deficiencies or issues are effective.Identify improvements in efficiency, HSE performance, quality, and cost.Promptly report issues relating to project works, incidents, hazards, injuries, illnesses, supplied products or services, or systems of work as appropriate.This role is an integral part of the site supervision team, requiring a proactive approach to initiate, action, or recommend solutions to rectify deficiencies or issues promptly.Relevant qualifications in occupational health and safety or environmental management.Experience in a health, safety, and environmental role within the construction industry.Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and influence safety culture.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Certification in relevant safety practices (e.g., first aid, CPR) is preferred.Training & DevelopmentEmployee DiscountsEmployee Assistance Program - Counseling, well-being, legal, financial, and health supportNovated LeasingPaid Parental LeaveRecharge Day - an extra day of leave each yearAnd more #J-18808-Ljbffr
