As the second-in-command in our kitchen, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure the highest standards of food quality, kitchen efficiency, and team performance.Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop innovative menus, recipes, and culinary conceptsOversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, quality control, and inventory managementAssign specific duties to kitchen staff and provide clear instructions and guidanceEnsure compliance with food safety standards, hygiene regulations, and quality control measuresMonitor and maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper functioning of kitchen equipmentTrain, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to enhance their skills and promote a positive work environmentAssist in managing food costs, reducing waste, and optimizing kitchen efficiencyConduct regular taste tests and quality checks on prepared dishesParticipate in menu planning, pricing, and cost control initiativesStep in for the Executive Chef when necessary, assuming full kitchen leadership responsibilitiesContribute to the development of new recipes and culinary techniques to keep the menu fresh and excitingEnsure excellent communication between kitchen and front-of-house staff to maintain smooth service operationsQualificationsMinimum of 5years of experience in a similar Executive Sous Chef role or equivalent positionStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse kitchen teamExtensive knowledge of various cuisines, culinary techniques, and food trendsProven track record in menu development, food presentation, and quality controlExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work efficiently under pressureSolid understanding of food safety standards, health regulations, and kitchen safety protocols #J-18808-Ljbffr
