ICON people have a mission to succeed and a passion that ensures what we do, we do well.What you will be doing:The responsibilities of the Senior Clinical Research Associate include, but are not limited to:Conduct of clinical research activities independently in accordance to ICH GCP and SOPs.Investigator identification and selectionInvestigator Meeting activitiesDesign and review of study material, such as patient information sheets, consent forms, monitoring plans etcTimely submission of protocol/consent documents/safety reports for ethics/IRB approval according to local requirementsSite visits, including Pre study, initiation, monitoring and close out visitsMaintain all files and documentation pertaining to the studiesComplete accurate study status reportsEnsure the correct storage & accountability of study materials and investigational productProcess case record forms to the required quality standards and timelinessDeal with clinical generated queries in a timely mannerEnsure correct archiving of files on completion of a studyMaintain patient and sponsor confidentialityCo-ordinate and/or participate in feasibility studies for new proposals, as requiredAct in a lead role on a study, assuming additional responsibilities as detailed/documented by the PM, if appropriateProject coordination, planning and logistics, including overview of budget and timelinesEffective Communication:Maintain professionalism at all timesKeep the project manager or designees regularly informedMotivate investigators in order to achieve recruitment targetsPresent at meetings as required.Recognize, exemplify and adhere to company values which center around our commitment to People, Clients and Performance.Ability and willingness to travel as and when required by the company.Participate in training and mentoring new staff up to Clinical Research Associate level as requiredAssist with marketing the company if and when appropriate#LI-remote#LI-SO1You are:Degree, Masters or PhD in Life Science, Nursing or Health Related+ 4 years experience as a CRA (level 1 and 2) and special knowledge in a therapeutic area (rare disease)Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and a strong interest in clinical researchProfessional use of the English language; both written and oralHome-basedWhat ICON can offer you:Our success depends on the quality of our people.
