This role will require you to work across a diverse range of HR matters including employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, change management, diversity & inclusion strategies, workforce planning, training, and development, including succession planning.Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with leadership teams to ensure the effective implementation and management of Fortescue People policies, practices, procedures that provide an optimal working environment and promote Fortescues culture and values.Provide high level coach/mentoring to leaders and the workforce.Workforce and succession planning and driving developmentSupport leaders with organisational reviews as required.Drive regular Fortescue People initiatives, in line with agreed timelines.Initiate, manage and contribute to major Fortescue People reports, projects, committees, reviews and/or continuous improvement activities.Support and facilitate leadership development training.Qualifications and ExperienceTertiary qualification in human resources, employee relations or a related fieldDemonstrated experience working in a Senior HR generalist role covering IR/ER, performance management, organisational development, and HR reporting.Demonstrated capacity to effectively communicate, promote and uphold Fortescue People initiatives and company values within discretion and confidentiality.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including interviewing, counselling, negotiating and report writing working across a broad group of stakeholders.Well-developed organisational and administrative skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to priorities and control own workload.Project experience would be highly regarded.Our CommitmentFortescue celebrates individual strengths and team members are encouraged to bring their whole selves to work.
