Every team member at Warrigalcontributes to this legacy, ensuring it continues to inspiregenerations to come.The opportunityThe Policy Manager will lead the development and implementationof policies across Warrigal, ensuring they align with legislativerequirements and best practices. This role involves creating acomprehensive policy framework, simplifying access to policies, andproducing clear and effective policy documentation. The PolicyManager will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure policiesare relevant, compliant, and effective, while continuouslymonitoring their impact.The role also requires staying informed about emerging trends,legislative changes, and industry best practices to guide policydecisions. Additionally, the Policy Manager will provide strategicadvice to senior leaders, represent Warrigal in policy forums, andfoster collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.This position offers the opportunity to shape theorganisations policy landscape and contribute to its ongoingsuccess.The benefitsBase salary up to $137k- based on experience + packagingbenefits + superNot For Profit salary packaging benefits pay up to$18,550 less tax per year, meaning more money for youCareer break schemes, additional purchased leave andmoreCommitment to on-going professional and careerdevelopmentSubsidised access to your local gym and 200+ more acrossthe country with a Fitness Passport24/7 access to mental, physical, social and financialsupport via the LifeWorks appThe requirementsBachelors degree in public policy, law, socialsciences, governance, or a related field.Extensive and demonstrated experience in policy developmentand implementation, preferably with a focus on the aged care orhealth sectors.Proven experience in drafting and creating organisationalpolicy frameworks.Ability to effectively communicate the role of policies andprocedures in complex care environments.Strong knowledge of legislative and regulatoryframeworks.Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solvingabilities.Demonstrated ability to collaborate and engage with diversestakeholders.Experience in stakeholder consultation and engagement.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong project management skills, with the ability to meettight deadlines.What our people love about working here:A supportive, passionate culture: Its acommunity filled with inspiring, big-hearted people.
