You will be required to have a in depth understanding of cyber security risk management, governance, policy and process in a federal or state government context.Essential CriteriaMinimum 5+ years professional experience in IT, with at least 2-4 years experience in an Information Security, Risk Management, Audit or equivalent disciplineBachelors or masters degree or be able to demonstrate relevant work experience to demonstrate equivalencyKnowledge of security standards such as the PSPF, ISM, Essential 8, DSPF, ISO 27000 series, NIST CSF and 800 series, CISExperience collaborating with internal teams and clients to understand requirements and provide expert guidance on SAP security and complianceSecurity policy and procedure writing experience as they relate to core security artefacts defined in the ISM and PSPFExperience with solutions for design and implementation of Essential 8 controls and processesExperience working with IP networking, networking protocols and understanding of security related technologiesExperience working with internet, web, application and network security techniquesExperience working with relevant operating system security (Windows, Linux, etc.)Knowledge of, or performance of IRAP and system certification and accreditationProven experience as a Cyber Security practitioner with relevant knowledge of GRCKnowledge of risk management methodologiesProfessional experience in developing a variety of technical documentationAbility to successfully communicate with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholdersCurrent NV1 security clearance (mandatory)Desirable CriteriaCloud Security or Architecture experience, preferably Azure or AWSExperience in supporting a small team of security consultantsImprove the level of security assurance where an organisation / department is interacting with third parties such as business, government and vendorsBuild on the ability to detect, deter and respond to cyber security threatsAbility to demonstrate study towards relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, IRAP, GSECOur culture and benefitsDXC is committed to building better futures for our customers, colleagues, environment, and communities.
