Leveraging your proven expertise in managing complex iron ore projects, youll apply strong commercial acumen across both time & materials and lump sum contracts. This role provides a unique opportunity to drive meaningful results through proactive stakeholder engagement and decisive project leadership.Your day-to-day includes:Lead the analysis and reporting of project performance metrics, driving initiatives to optimize productivity and outcomes across all project phases.Ensure full compliance with contract requirements by allocating and managing adequate resources to sustain strong project performance within budget throughout the project lifecycle.Maintain strategic oversight to prioritize project activities and resource distribution, ensuring alignment with financial forecasts and budget targets.Support recruitment efforts and facilitate onboarding processes to build and integrate project personnel effectively.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement site and project strategies that align with the companys broader business objectives.Identify, evaluate, and advance new opportunities for project improvement, presenting actionable proposals for approval and execution.Oversee the management of external contractors and suppliers, ensuring their engagement, performance, and deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations.About youProven track record of successfully managing Time & Materials and Lump Sum projects exceeding $50 million, coupled with strong commercial management skills.Proven commercial acumen, effectively managing budgets, contracts, and mitigating financial risks.Extensive experience in the iron ore sector, with a solid understanding of its unique challenges.Skilled in stakeholder engagement and client management, building collaborative and productive relationships.Responsible, adaptable, and an effective communicator across all organizational levels.In-depth knowledge of construction management practices, standards, systems, and processes specific to structural remediation within the iron ore industry.Deep understanding of industry best practices and their practical application to successful project delivery.Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.Why you should work for AltradWe provide the benefits youd expect from a global company, but what makes us different?Our Opportunities: Embark on a thrilling journey with us, tackling diverse and exciting challenges on some of the world''s most prominent resources, energy, and infrastructure projects.Our Vibrant Culture: Immerse yourself in a dynamic atmosphere where problem-solving is a way of life.
