Early Years Specialist/Key Worker We are seeking an Early Years Specialist to join a diverse and highly motivated team of experienced allied health professionals, social workers, and inclusive education specialists. The organisation operates across health, disability, counselling, and community mental health services in Australia. The role The Early Years Specialist will work within a transdisciplinary team to deliver functional assessments, planning, and early supports for children aged 0-9 years with developmental delays or disabilities, and their families. The role involves partnering with families to support children in achieving positive outcomes, participating actively in daily activities, and being included in family and community life. Responsibilities include: Interacting and building rapport with families, listening to the voice of the child Facilitating the inclusion of children in community and mainstream settings Coaching families, carers, and professionals to enhance their capacity Documenting developmental information, goals, and outcomes Assisting families with applying for and implementing funded NDIS plans Working collaboratively within a team The successful candidate will have: A tertiary qualification in allied health or education Current registration with AHPRA, SPA, AASW, or relevant teaching registration A NSW driver''s license Experience working with children and families Experience with developmental delays/disabilities and direct intervention strategies Willingness to complete references, police checks, and NDIS checks What we offer The organisation is committed to staff development and offers a supportive environment to help you excel.
