We also offer a distinguished learning platforman elegant fusion of expert knowledge and tailored developmentto support your growth in a culture that celebrates excellence, sophistication, and personal ambition.Job DescriptionAssist with formulating and driving the MICE strategy for the hotel and communicate this strategy to the team.Devise, develop, and deliver a comprehensive strategic and tactical plan for business development, income generation, and profit conversion.Organise conferences, events, and group accommodations from confirmation to post-event follow-up to ensure client satisfaction.Prepare and follow up on conference, group accommodation, social, and corporate proposals for direct clients and on behalf of the department.Assist with revenue forecasting, issue, and communicate group and MICE forecasts, and develop action plans to maximize hotel capacity and venue use.Collaborate with the Director of Revenue, Director of Sales, and Director of Marketing to achieve optimal RevPAR, revenue, and yield results.Support the Reservations Department to ensure service delivery aligns with revenue strategies.Prepare monthly Sales and Marketing reports reflecting market intelligence and plan adjustments.Identify business peaks and troughs and contribute innovative ideas to enhance revenue and profitability.Maximize revenue from corporate, wholesale, and MICE clients through cross-selling and upselling.Promote a strong, values-aligned workplace culture.Drive open communication across departments.Support change management processes with empathy and clarity.Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, feedback, and goal-setting.Assist in performance reviews and employee development plans.QualificationsHighly motivated with excellent attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with corporate clients, wedding planners, vendors, and others.Maintain a professional appearance representing the Sofitel brand.Minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership role.5-10 years of experience in event planning, conference services, or banquet operations.Proven track record managing large-scale events, conferences, and high-profile clients.Additional InformationIf you share our passion for hospitality, service excellence, innovation, and drive, we would love to hear from you!Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are an inclusive company, aiming to attract, recruit, and promote diverse talent.
