Within this team, the Strategy & Propositions group focuses on creating tailored client solutions and strategic product marketing propositions that support growth and help us stay ahead in the market.See yourself in our Team:Youll be part of a small, high-performing team within a Centre of Excellence, reporting to the Chapter Area Lead Strategy & Propositions. Youll collaborate across the Payment Acceptance domain to drive innovation and impact.Your Impact:Were looking for a Strategy & Propositions Manager to join our Payment Acceptance team. In this role, youll work closely with product managers, sales teams, marketing, and technical pre-sales to shape our go-to-market strategy and respond to customer needs.Youll analyse market trends, evaluate competitive offerings, and help define the value of our propositionsensuring they deliver strong commercial outcomes and meet customer expectations. Youll also play a key role in responding to RFPs and shaping our future roadmap across all customer segments, from small businesses to large institutions.What Youll Do:Stay on top of market and competitor trends to help prioritise and shape our propositions.Partner with frontline, product, and marketing teams to craft compelling responses to RFPs, ensuring we meet customer needs with technically sound solutions.Identify gaps in our current offerings and help shape the strategic roadmap.Support product teams with research, business cases, and financial modelling to ensure strong ROI on new propositions.Represent CommBank at internal and external forums, always upholding our values and reputation.Follow our Code of Conduct, which guides the behaviour and decisions we expect from all our people.Were interested in hearing from people who have:Demonstrated experience in strategy, payments, or merchant servicesconsulting experience is a plus.Strong background in sales or technical pre-sales, with a solid understanding of the tech and payments industry.Experience in e-commerce and in-person payment solutionsbonus if youve worked in sectors like retail, hospitality, education, transit, or health.A customer-first mindsetyoure passionate about understanding and solving for customer needs.Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skillsyou can turn insights into action.Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills.A proactive, results-driven attitude and a desire to keep learning.A solid understanding of merchant industry dynamics, risks, and regulations.Why Join Us?At CommBank, were committed to your growth and wellbeing.
