Its specialities include cardiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, cancer, respiratory medicine, neurology, liver and kidney transplants.The purpose of the Director of SOuRCe is to lead and conduct high quality clinical, epidemiological and health services research to improve health outcomes for surgical patients, and to manage and supervise the research team within SOuRCe along with all financial and operational aspects.For more information, please view the Position Description.Ideal CandidatePost-graduate qualifications equivalent to the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and/or equivalentexperience in epidemiology, biostatistics and/or health services research.Proven ability as a research leader e.g. through first author publications, first named investigator for grantsubmissions or ethics applications, invited presentations, research awards or prizes.Demonstrated senior level expertise in statistical methods relevant to clinical/health services research,the design and maintenance of research databases and the use of research and statistical software.Benefits and Perks!Paid Parental Leave & Annual Leave loading.Opportunity for extra tax savings through Salary Packaging and Novated Leasing.
