If you share our drive and commitment, the opportunities are limitless.By combining our scale and resources with an entrepreneurial mindset, well give you the chance to take on bigger challenges, grow faster and develop yourself further.The Position:As a Licensed Customs Broker, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the importation and exportation of goods, ensuring compliance with Australian customs law/regulations, DAFF requirements and providing expert advice to our customers, internal departments and/or other Business Units.Key Responsibilities:Customs Declarations: Prepare and lodge import and export declarations in compliance with the Customs Act 1901.Tariff Classification: Accurately classify goods using the Australian Customs Tariff and determine applicable duties and taxes.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all shipments adhere to Australian Border Force (ABF), Biosecurity and other regulatory requirements.Customer Liaison: Provide expert advice to clients on customs procedures, documentation, and compliance matters.Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records of all customs transactions and communications.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with changes in customs regulations and industry best practicesWho We are Looking For:Licensed Customs Broker3+ years'' experience in customs broking, with a strong understanding of import/export processes.Proficiency in customs declaration software (e.g., ICS, CargoWise) and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and regulatory authorities.High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the role.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex customs issues.Preferred candidates will be required to undertake reference checks as well as pre-employment screening, including a National Police Check.
