Period of AppointmentFixed Term, Full TimeDutiesAs a member of the Divisions senior management team, provide leadership and direction in developing and managing the department''s strategic and business framework, including the development of policies, systems and processes to support the delivery of services to the Tasmanian community.Provide specialist advice in relation to issues relating to the implementation of the Commission of Inquiry into the Tasmanian Government''s responses to child sexual abuse in institutional settings (the CoI), Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse (the Royal Commission) and the Weiss Independent Review into former police officer Paul Reynolds (the Weiss Review).Essential RequirementsPre-Employment ChecksThe Head of the State Service has determined that a person nominated for appointment to this position is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer.
