Our Nursery Room, known as the Picasso Room, provides a calm and flexible environment where infants can explore and interact under the guidance of our educators.We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality early childhood education and care through a play-based curriculum tailored to individual developmental needs.A little bit about the role:Our Picasso Room can cater for up to 12 children aged 0-2 years each day. In this role, you will be responsible for:Creating and implementing a developmentally appropriate program aligned with the EYLFFostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in your careLeading and mentoring a team of Educators, promoting best practices in early childhood educationBuilding strong, respectful relationships with families, ensuring open and effective communicationMaintaining accurate documentation of children''s progress and developmental milestonesThis position is full-time, working across 5 days per week on a rotating roster from 6.30am to 6.30pm.Our idea of a superstar Lead Educator is someone with:A Diploma or above in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within a nursery settingA deep understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsA commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practiceCurrent First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates and a valid WWCCWhat We OfferOpportunities for professional growth and career advancementA supportive and collaborative team environmentComplimentary barista-made coffee for staff and familiesQuarterly staff recognition awards, team-building sessions, and outingsIf you''re ready to lead with passion and make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children, we''d love to hear from you.Whiz Kidz is a Child Safe Organisation.
