Ventia is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Electrical Maintainer / Operator to join our Operations Team at Millmerran Power Station.As a key member of the Operations Team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining coal and ash plant equipment to ensure maximum availability, efficiency, and safety. This dual-role position combines hands-on operational duties with maintenance responsibilities, supporting the broader maintenance team as required.Key responsibilities include:Operating, inspecting, isolating, cleaning, maintaining, and repairing plant machinery and equipmentCollaborating with the maintenance team to meet plant performance targetsUsing the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage and complete work ordersParticipating in risk assessments, safety analysis, and continuous improvement initiativesEnsuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standardsWhy Ventia?This role follows a rotating roster of 4 day shifts, 4 days off, 4 night shifts, and 4 days offAn attractive hourly rate - $52.16Long-term stability with a renewed contract and strong safety culture.Rural Allowance: Between $34.00 - $92.00 (per week, depending on location)Tool Allowance: $23.52 per weekIncome protection as part of SuperOn-site parking in a secure, gated facility.A collaborative team environment with opportunities to grow and innovate.What Youll NeedTrade qualification (Electrical)First Aid CertificateExperience in coal plant operations or industrial experienceLoader Ticket/ Forklift LicenceThis role is based on-site at the Millmerran Power Station.
