Queensland Virtual Academy (QVA) are seeking an experienced Computer Systems Administrator to lead our Information and Communication Technology (ICT) team. Leveraging digital innovation, QVA ensures that studentsregardless of their geographic locationcan engage in high-quality, flexible learning experiences.About The RoleIn this key role, you will oversee the daily operations of QVA''s ICT systems and infrastructure, ensuring they run seamlessly and align with departmental standards and the needs of a virtual school environment. You will provide expert technical guidance, implement innovative digital solutions, manage ICT resources, and support the strategic goals of the Academy.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic ICT advice and support to school leadership, applying innovative technologies to meet educational and operational needs.Lead and manage the ICT team, overseeing workflows, training, performance, and compliance with safety standards.Maintain and support all ICT infrastructure, including installation, maintenance, and enhancement of hardware, software, and educational delivery systems.Oversee ICT asset and procurement management, ensuring compliance with policies and effective use of financial and physical resources.Develop and implement standardised ICT procedures, ensuring high service levels, data accuracy, and support for teaching, learning, and administration.Mandatory QualificationsPossession of a relevant Diploma from a recognised tertiary institution or qualifications, which in the opinion of the Director-General, Department of Education or delegate is acceptable.It would also be beneficial to possess demonstrated proficiency in applyingestablished technical disciplines, as well as high levels of initiative in accomplishing technical objectives, eitherautonomously or as a member of a team.Interested?
