Our services have a strong focus on prevention and early intervention and enable access to safe accommodation options, Holistic case management, community outreach programs and programs that teach vital independent living skills. Our centres are safe and supportive environments creating an ideal environment for growth, where participants feel believed in, valued, listened to, and respected.The RoleThe Client Services Coordinator reports directly to the Bundaberg Regional Manager and is an integral member of the leadership team overseeing operations at Bundaberg Youth Refuge, Tom Quinn Community Centre, and the Bundaberg Families Housing program.This role is responsible for leading a team of case managers and youth support staff in delivering high-quality case management and support services to young people aged 16-25, including families with children, who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness.The Coordinator will develop and implement client-centred case plans aimed at achieving defined outcomes.A key focus of this position is to champion and enhance child- and family-centred approaches throughout the Bundaberg region.How You Will Make An ImpactProvide client-centred supervision and support to case management and youth support teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.Conduct intake assessments for individuals accessing the refuge and outreach programs.Identify clients at risk and develop comprehensive risk and safety response plans to protect clients, staff, and the organization.Ensure all aspects of the youth program align with the Journey to Independence Model and the Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) practice framework.Maintain staff adherence to the Case Management Practice Framework.Lead and coordinate daily operations across residential and outreach services, ensuring seamless integration between case management and after-hours support roles.What You Will BringA degree in social work or a related discipline.Demonstrated experience and proficiency in case management within a youth-focused environment is highly desirable.Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and respond effectively to the dynamic needs of a youth service setting.A valid Working with Children Check (Employee Blue Card) is required prior to commencement.A current drivers license.What We OfferThe Salvos offer eligible employee''s a well-balanced package of meaningful benefits including:Salary packaging up to $15,900 tax free + $2,650 meal entertainment benefit.Generous Paid Parental leave for primary (12 weeks) & secondary carers,Purchased Leave Scheme (up to 8 weeks) and 5 days paid leave per year to experience working in other TSA programs or activities.Access to EAP and health & wellness initiatives incl Fitness PassportOngoing training and development opportunities that enhance on the job skills and proficiency.Rewarding and fulfilling purpose driven careers that have positive and sustainable / social impacts.About UsThe Salvation Army (Salvos) is a Christian movement and one of Australia''s largest and most-loved charities.
