About the Role Formed in December 2020, Venues NSW is a commercially focused arm of the NSW Government. We work closely with Destination NSW, major sporting codes, and promoters to provide a vibrant calendar of major events that excite and entertain the people of NSW. This position is based at our Moore Park headquarters. Supporting the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Officer will assist with processing weekly payroll, maintaining employee payroll records, and handling payroll inquiries. This is a part-time role within the Finance team, requiring availability from Wednesday to Friday. The Payroll Officer plays a vital role in delivering efficient payroll services in accordance with Venues NSW policies, Enterprise Agreements, and relevant Awards. About You Ideal candidates will possess: Demonstrated payroll experience in a similar role Understanding of payroll and basic accounting procedures Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel Knowledge of Preceda or similar payroll systems We seek applicants who excel in customer service environments, demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, and possess excellent time management, attention to detail, and a friendly, positive attitude.
